Copenhagen Day 11 part 2

I am absolutely convinced when I check in at the airport they snigger and find the strangest people to sit next to me.  I swear I had a lumberjack next to me on the way to Amsterdam.  Complete stereo type, straight from a North American film or Monty Python script, and worse was to come.  We got airborne and just a little way into the flight he started humming, I wouldn’t mind but he didn’t have any music on him.  No idea what tune it was, probably something that celebrates the falling of a great redwood.  At the time he started to hum I was trying to fall asleep and now I daren’t open my eyes.  I didn’t want to catch his eye and him start talking to me.  I had convinced myself he had a axe or something in his carry-on baggage.  So I sat there the one hour to Amsterdam with my eyes shut, I heard them coming round with the drinks and wanted a tea but I wasn’t going to open my eyes.  I got out at Amsterdam and thought that is over, still in one piece and made my way to the Copenhagen plane.  Boarded and within a few minutes a Pakistani young woman sat in the next seat.  Good I thought at least I am safe.  She is not likely to have an axe in her handbag.  About ten minutes into the flight she started chucking up.  She used her sick bag, then I gave her mine and then she got everyone’s from the seat around us.  By the time they came round with the food and drink, for some reason I was just not interested.
This evening it was back to the hotel and back on my own as apparently the other guys have chosen to try a different hotel this week.  Nice of them to tell me.  So hopefully I am going to get another walk in tonight, going to try to walk the opposite way to what I did last week.  That sounds weird, not actually walking in a different way but walking in a different direction and hopefully see something different.  That sounds better.
Didnt go for a walk, just before I left work at 7.00 p.m. I got a stack of work to get done before tomorrow morning so I got back to the hotel at 7.30 p.m. and did the work.
It is now 9.45 p.m. and ready to go to bed, so once this is finished it is to the land of nod.
