Copenhagen Day 16 - Tell me why I dont like Monday's

It is on the road time again but this time to Birmingham, easy journey, straight down the M1 to A42 and then M42 and to the parking, with just one stop for obligatory toilet break and to stretch my legs for a few minutes.
Birmingham is one very big airport for primarily a holiday flight airport but with all the people going on holiday it does give it a fresher feel than the usual drudgery of an airport full of business men who do this every week.  Instead of the rush rush rush, you get people who want to shop as soon as they have checked in, instead of people not booking in suitcases so they can save the extra twelve seconds at the other end.
So what was new about today, well I decided to go celebrity spotting, not real celebrities but look a like’s. I used to do that years ago as a kid with my brother and some of the famous look a likes we used to see regularly were Graham Gardner and Albert Steptoe, the later was fantastic as it was an absolute dead ringer, the only problem was that it was a woman, no teeth either.  Couldnt believe one person could so look like another.  However this time was not the first time I have done this since been a kid, a year or so ago Jonny and I did it when we had a trip to Brugges.  We saw the ultimate look alike.  We saw Jesus or Mr Christ to his non friends, he was actually walking down the streets of Brugges shopping with a woman.  I wanted to go over and ask if she was Mary Magdalin but she didn’t really look like a lady of ill repute so we left it after we had taken a few photos of him.  I am sure he rumbled as we took the first and he walked buy us, so we crossed over the road ran ahead of him, re-crossed and then took it again.  I am sure he noticed us but he sought of smiled in that forgiving way the real Jesus has.
So back to today and on the flight was an absolute dead ringer for Noddy Holder, I prayed he didn’t sit next to me and I got my wish (will have to go back to Brugges and than him).   The only problem with celebrity spotting, we two actually, one is that all my celebs are from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s as I don’t know any from nowadays and the other problem is that you spend a lot of time staring at people and I think that makes them feel uncomfortable.
The second leg of my journey was a tad different, firstly the plane was delayed, only by an hour but no explanation given , then when I arrived at Copenhagen the ticket machines that take cash had all broken down, only the ones that accept credit cards, but I didn’t want to use those as I had cash so had to queue at the ticket hall, then when I got onto the metro it was broken.  The bemused local metro people said it could be out for hours, so I started to walk for a taxi and got about 500 yards away when the metro started working so had to back track and get back to the metro and because of the build up it was sardine time with a suitcase.
Needless to say I got to work thirteen hours after leaving home thoroughly shattered and expecting to be celeb spotting the grim reaper.
