Day 45 - Deva - Blooming Great Big Hill

This morning I woke at 5.00 a.m. and with the early morning sun just starting to peek in the sky I decided to get up as I have decided to write up my travel diary from my Hong Kong trip in 2008 and publish it.  So I hit the PC and wrote furiously until 7.15 a.m. when I had to shower and get down for breakfast.  Breakfast this morning was in the shape of scrambled egg and some ham, yes exactly the same as yesterday.
It was soon time for work and we decided to take a different route to work, the reason for doing this was that the sat nav was taking us all the way around a blooming great big hill but google maps showed us that there was a road that went over the blooming great hill.  So we headed in that direction.  After about ten minutes and as the road turned from tarmac to stone to mud I decided this was not the best route and we turned and went back the way we had come. Therefore by the time we reached the vociferous security ladies at the plant we were a little later than we planned to be.  After a thorough search of the car and our bodies we were allowed into work.  The coast was clear to allow us to get from the car to the office as the killer dogs were nowhere to be seen.
However this was not the case when I had to do a call with our comms manager for me to agree the comms plan, no sooner had I left the building to get a decent signal I was surrounded by four of them and I think they were smelling food so I closed the call on Health and Safety grounds, mine, and carefully retreated into the office.  I didn’t imagine doing a conference call could be so dangerous.
With work done and the sun still shining we decided to take a walk down a path that leads from the back of the hotel, past the horse riding area and up the blooming great hill.  But it lead to a bit of a disappointment as the road up the hill reached the top and promptly stopped, so we took another route and that led around the hotel but right into the path of some dogs so we decided not to chance it and returned to the hotel the way we came, so all in all a twenty or so minute walk nowhere, but it gave extra time for some late night work.
So with that all done and bed beckoning it is time for
Night All
