I arrived home or rather into Birmingham Airport at 11:30 a.m. which was a nice change to be so early and as I retrieved my baggage I left the airport and had a really good run home.
It was when I got home that I found that the baggage handlers of Europe were very impressive. I had bought some bread in Luxembourg as my son likes that particular sort and as a treat I wanted to bring home just one loaf of it. I had placed it in my case to see if it could survive the journey. All I can say is that it was in one piece when I opened the case. The only thing was it was now the flattest object known to man. It was no more than a millimeter or so wide. I do not know how they had managed it. If Apple are planning to release a new Ipad or Iphone then they should speak to the baggage handlers of Europe as they have a new method of compressing the components of anything into a new physical format irrelevant to the laws of physics . It was so very impressive.
Another thing that was impressive. I had come home early this week as I had planned to go to see a show and that was Jesus Christ Superstar in Nottingham. It was brilliant. A pain trying to park the car and felt amazingly ripped off when the parking cost me £17.45 for the pleasure. I don't think I will bother going to Nottingham Arena again as the others I have visited, Sheffield and Newcastle for example have a much better set up when it comes to parking. But the show was awesome, a really good night out and I would recommend that to anyone.
So my journeying has come to an end for this week and Monday it will be a very early start as I need to get to Heathrow for my journey to Poland and I am looking forward to that as I have not been to that country before so it will be a taste of new things and a new set of experiences, good ones I hope.
So for now its bye for this week
