Time to dig out the blog as it is 6 weeks to the road trip. Only 6 weeks left until we jump in the car and hit the road to London and the hotel where we stay and park the car of a few weeks while we view the sites of New York, California, Nevada, Utah, Colarado, Nebraska, Iowa and finally Illynois.
So also time to get the blog up and running.
So as a prelude to the big trip, it is time to write about my lesser travels with work and next week, Monday to be precise I set off for my journey to Copenhagen. The short notice of my trip means that my route is a little diluted and to get there I have to go from Leeds Bradford airport via Amsterdam and then to Copenhagen, so the delights of airport window shopping is on the cards for the two hours I will have there.
Not sure I will get much sightseeing done as this trip does not come with a car, only a couple of stops on the train from the airport will see me to the office and then over the road to the hotel. Still I plan to take the camara and may get chance to take a few snaps of what I can see.
A brief look at weather.com and a 5 day forcast allows me to understand why I got this project, I wonder if it would have been so easy if it had been summer. Still I've been realiable informed the sea is not frozen around the coast of Denmark anymore so it has warmed up a tad.
Thats all for now and probably until I start my journey as I have to leave at 03.45 on Monday morning to get to the airport so my plan to store sleep before the week ahead is starting right now.
