Copenhagen Day 10

Copenhagen Day 10 and that means I am going home.  So after a packing session this morning, I didn’t pack last night as I couldn’t be bothered.  I also give myself a treat on a Friday by not getting up til 6.30 and not going into work until 8.00.
Back to this morning and I felt a bit awful, I put the TV on this morning for a change and found BBC world and the headline was.  Inglebert Humpadink and immediately thought orrr he’s died and then it was a story that he is to sing our next eurovision song contest entry.  I thought wow, as soon as you hear some older persons name on the TV you naturally assume they are a gonna.  I wonder how many others thought that when they heard the first line of the story.
On my last blog l forgot to mention that whilst I was walking around I saw a few buskers and out of these a guy playing the violin was especially good, he had the usual backing track but he was really good.  In contrast a guy playing the clarinet was decidedly bad.  I honestly don’t think I could have done any worse and I have never held a clarinet.  Anyhow this morning on the way to work on the metro and a guy playing the saxophone who was also on the streets last night was up bright and early and serenading the locals on their way to work this morning.  He wasn’t bad at all, which is pretty high up on my critical scale of musicians, it sort of goes, really good, then not bad at all, not bad, oh dear and then bottom of the list comes that noise when you’re trying not to laugh, you know you laugh but hold it in.  The guy with the clarinet really came into that category.
So right now I am sat back at work waiting for my first meeting of the day, riveting stuff.
On my way home now so you can tell there has been a bit of a break since my last bit of writing.  I am now sat at Frankfurt airport and will be my last update before Monday as when I have finished this I only get 30 mins of free wifi at Frankfurt to upload and then tough, no surfing.  When you consider I have another three hours to wait for my connecting flight it is going to be tedious.
At this point I should start with my observation and interesting anecdotes but ant got none.  The flight from Copenhagen to Frankfurt was routine, probably the least full plane I have been on since my amazing Orkneys to Aberdeen flight years ago.  That time there were only four of us on a 24 seater plane.  A few more this time but still only one person to a row of seats.  Frankfurt seems rather quiet for a Friday afternoon or as it is 6.00 p.m. I should say early evening.  I would love a drink but got no euros so going to have to struggle until I get on the plane and hope they have a drink on there.  So it’s time to switch off the laptop until tomorrow and Sunday when I have three meetings each day before doing this all over again next week.
No rest for the wicked eh!
