Copenhagen Day 19 - part two - An offer to go for a drink

Got a bit boring at work so I was going through the customer feedback forms, one of the locals had translated them from Danish to English, and most of them say, why can’t the questions be in Danish and not English, if we had done them in Danish they would have had nothing to put on them.  At least we gave them a reason to put a comment.  I got a bit bored and decided to add a translation of my own, there was some Danish so I wrote on it, “I am going to find you and hunt you down like a dog” and gave it to the boss and said, “this one must be for you”.
I didn’t think anything unusual about it as I normally get comments like that on my project customer feedback forms, in the past we have had people fighting and one even crying, mind you another member of the team was attempting to push him out of a second floor window at the time.  That is why I like my own projects, they never seem boring, nothing like that is happening on this one, maybe as they forbid me to go to the customer site and I have to work alone in a little office.
This morning it was celeb spotting time on the metro as I am convinced I saw Grizzly Adams, this enormous bloke with a big bushy beard was coming up the up escalator, obviously.  Well not obviously actually cause if he had wanted to come up the down escalator then neither any of us or the escalator would have argued.
Then on my way home I felt rebellious and decided to get off the train at the stop before Copenhagen Haven and walk a different way to the hotel.  My life is full of little twists and turns.  I just got in to the hotel from work when Scott phoned me to say, did I want to join them at the pub so I hot tailed it down there and had a nice evening sipping coca cola and watching the match that was on T.V.  Coming out of the pub remembered that I had not gone back to the souvenir shop to get the little mermaid statue for my mother and as it is too late now will have to put that on the to do list for next week.
Now I am once again back at the hotel and should be doing my Meeting slide pack for tomorrow’s meeting as well as a Application Management Document that needs to be out tonight but instead I am writing up my travels, neigh, adventures.
I have one more thing to report as well today, if anyone read one of my first blog’s when I started travelling here they will have read that I got a lift with a guy who drove so close to every parked car, I was amazed he didn’t rip the side of the car off, well without me saying it, today he told me he had an accident report to write up, as he cant understand why but he has ripped the wing mirror off the door.  When he told me I said, “wow, how did that happen”.  I have always been very diplomatic.
Well, I better do this work and then get some sleep before morning when it is packaging day and going home day, funny how they seem to coincide every week.
I wonder if this weekend I will actually get a coat of paint done in the bathroom, you can tell it is another of my projects as it is weeks overdue but well within budget.
Night all
