Today is home day and as normal Friday is a busy busy day. Finally got all my work done just before midnight and sent out everything needed, so I suppose I kept my promise that everything would be out today. Now I need to do three meetings and a quick dash to the airport, a plane to Frankfurt, a plane to Birmingham and then a journey home. I hope to be home about 7:00 p.m. which would give me a whopping 55 hours before I have to set off again. The difference this time, is that it will be my last week away. I will have one week at home and then we start the big trip. New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas etc. Next week will have to be spent making sure we have everything we need and making sure we have a definite route, I can just imagine us some 700 miles from Chicago with one day to go till our plane home. I think for my own sanity I need to take just one day at a time when we are out there and as long as we keep roughly to the plan we should be OK. For now the first trip is to get down to London and to the hotel where we will park the car and spend a night before we jet off. To think that is only two weeks today, scary.
