Copenhagen Day 24 - Getting ready to say my goodbye

Day 24 and my final full day in Copenhagen, at least prior to our big USA trip which is now T minus 8 days, scary stuff.
Didn’t do an update to the blog last night as planned as I simple choose to do something different.
Firstly I arrived back at the hotel around 6.30 p.m. and dropped my bag off, got changed and headed back out the door, as I walked out of the hotel I decided not to walk to Norreport and the market but thought I would walk toward Kongen Nytov with a view to maybe stopping off at the pub I went in last week with Scott and watch the football.  It took about an hour to get to Kongen N and turned around and walked back, on the way back I was passing the pub but didn’t feel like been sat on my own so carried on walking past and eventually got back to the hotel around 8.30 p.m.
I listened to a couple of The Archers podcasts before wondering what to do next.  I am not sure if I have mentioned this on the blog before and not sure if many people know this but I like to write fiction stories, normally short stories about two or three thousand words but I’m currently working on a story that has escalated a little and at the moment is at 27,000 words I have finished the story once as it was a week in the life of someone but I have now changed it and it is going to be a little longer.  When I’m in Goole I like to go to a writing group, I miss it alot with working away from home but when I am at home I like to attend, the group have given me the confidence to write and the most important part of the group for me is that they give honest feedback, not the feedback you get from friends, “ohhh that’s nice” but real feedback and one lady in particular always takes my work apart and from that I feel I have got better over the past 12 months and with all of their help can keep progressing.  I enjoy the group and with my trips over here most likely coming to an end I will get the chance to go back again.
Back to today and it is now 7.00 a.m. and just about ready for work, I was just checking facebook and the news headlines and about to make my way to the offices at Femoren for the twenty fourth and penultimate time.
Bye for now
