Day 33 - Home to Genk - Suspicious Parcel

So the highlights for Day 33.  Well they started early, at Manchester Airport in fact.  It was only just past 04:30 when I had got through security and into the lounge to wait for the plane, occasionally I treat myself and have a coffee at the Costa cafe.  I had finished my coffee and was just standing up to put my coat back on and get my bag when a guy who was sat behind me said, is this your bag and pointed to a red canvas bag.  I said no and he said that someone had put it down at the side of him and left it.  So we both stood staring at the bag and looking around to see whos it could be.  I suggested he should go and  tell someone while I watch it from a distance.  Just he was off this dozy looking guy comes walking back to the bag with a cup of coffee in hand.  It appeared he had put his bag down to save a seat in the cafe but it was a bit hairy for a while.  I left the guy who had spoken to me giving this bloke a piece of his mind but it makes you realise how the simple of mistakes could have caused mayhem even though the bag was perfectly harmless.
This week I am at a different hotel and whilst not the best I have stayed in, it isn’t bad.  I have a nice balcony to look out over the small street that runs in front of the hotel, disappointed there isn’t a kettle in the room as it means I can’t have my noodles that you have to make with boiling water, but at least I got to eat the salad I had brought outside in the warm sunshine.  Below is the view I have from my balcony
Back to reality on the car front, I have a VW Polo which again is a nice little car, no bells and whistles but big enough for me and to ferry around my French colleague who joined me this evening for the rest of the week.  Just finished an evening meeting I had planned with him and now relaxing in my room, doing a bit of work and of course this blog.
Also going to have an early night tonight so it is time for

Night all
