Day 50 of my travels was going to be a busy day at work today so it was up early, breakfasted and out to work by 7.30 a.m. At least I was right about that, work was very very busy and we didn’t leave until after 7.00 p.m. So I thought it would be a nice relax to have a swim but when I got there it was closed as there was some aqua club going on but on the bright side it will be open by 8.45 p.m. so I will had back down there then. You have realised that I am writing this before the end of the night as I have done some work but thought I would catch up on the blog whilst I wait for the pool to re-open.
Pool re-opened and a nice swim was had by all, well me anyway as I was the only one there.
So back to today and similar to Romania last week the driving around the city is unbelievable. Everyone drives so fast, the limit is suppose to be 50 KPH around the city which is roughly 30 MPH but they go like there is no tomorrow and for some there won’t be. On the way to work I couldn’t see the speedo but I know we were going fast, especially when the taxi had to stop behind a car in a queue and he left it quite late, I was glad I wasn’t in the front.
On the way back with and the driving was as fast I am sure, but this time I saw the speedo and at one point we were doing 110 KPH which is about 70 MPH and through built up area that does seem fast. No sign of any police about so I suppose if that’s the norm then that is why they speed. But it was like been in a video game like Grand Theft Auto or something similar.
On the weather front as I know you will be asking, not as warm as last week with the temperature in the early 20’s and nice when you have to be in a suit all day and the office doesn’t appear to be air conditioned. The weather man or rather the weather internet man says it will continue to get warmer but with tomorrow being our last full day as I am having the treat of coming home early this week (Thursday) it doesn’t really matter as there will be very little time to enjoy any better weather.
That’s all for now, I will just be waiting to see how the Arsenal, Wigan game finishes before taking the chance of a relatively early night, about 11:00 p.m. So for now
