Day 61 - Dunkirk to Home - Strange signs

Another short blog today as it was going home day and going home day means a nice cooked tea when I get in and a cuddle from the dog so not a lot of time for blog writing .
But I wanted to start with another weird thing seen at Brussels Airport, hot on the heels of the Coke machine front picture that shows the Belgium famous Manikin Pis peeing into a coke bottle and thinking it was a good selling point comes another strange sight.  In the toilet on a male urinal, not sure if they have female ones as not been in there and nothing would surprise me in this country, there is a sign on the top of it that says, “This waterless urinal was installed at Brussels Airport and saves up to 250,000 litres of drinking water a year.  Not sure in this day of trying to get people to drink more water that notices like that will make you rush out and grab some water to drink, or is it just me.
So apart from the strange signs today was the day I drove back to Brussels from Dunkirk, a journey just short of 200km so a chance to look at the Peugot 5008 I had.  A nice car that is about the same size as a Citreon C4 but I had to be honest and looking at the car, I assume it will cost a fair few quid as it is a Peugot and it is a big one, it has all the bells and whistles like sat nav, a very good radio system, auto wipers, headlights, auto dip headlights, reversing sensors, but the thing that is disappointing is the dashboard, in the cheapest plastic you will see in any car.  We have a Pixo at home and those cars are cheap, the dash on the Peugot is no better quality.  The drive was OK but as the car had only done just over one thousand km in its life then I would expect that to be the case.  Also I noticed that it pulled very slightly to the left, but again that may be what someone has done to it rather than the car’s fault.  Overall, not bad but not worth the money that I’m sure it will cost.
So that is all for today and this week, Dunkirk comes to an end for some time to come I think which gives me a chance to see some different places over the next few weeks.
So for now
Night All
