Day 2 of the busy week and it was check out time of the
hotel but luckily that was not until midday so at least I can do my meetings
before having to get ready for the customer presentation.
So the highlight of the day was the presentation and I thought
it was going well so as it entered its third hour I started to throw a little
humour in, so I suggested that the time will come throughout the work you are
doing when someone will have to take a big stick to their staff and beat them
repeatedly. I now have one tip for
anyone doing presentations, don’t throw humour in, particularly when you suggest
work place violence and maybe to an audience who have the rudimentarys of English
but not a 100% understanding. Still, in
my blissfully ignorant world I think it went well.
Once out of their I had to hot foot it to the airport as my
plane was booked for 18:30. This choice
of flight plan and the extra stop in Germany gave me the opportunity to wander
the terminal of Frankfurt for several hours until my flight back to Birmingham
at 22:00 local time.
As I arrived into Birmingham a little after 22:00 local time
I thought it would be best to get home and change some clothing in my case
before me heading almost straight back out of the door to be en route to
Stanstead for my flight to Spain.
