Book Update

No travel update as I am still not on the road with this project and not likely to be so I thought rather that not put anything I thought I will start putting stuff up about my new book.
Recently I've published my first fiction novel on Amazon.  The book is called Drinking Partners and the synopsis is below

Angie works away from home and is tired of her husband’s drinking. She has given herself five days to decide if she should return to him or start afresh alone. But events lead her to ask more questions of her life than she expected and now returning home to her husband may not be as simple as she’d hoped.

Obviously I cannot market my book and therefore only goes out to friends and family on facebook so sales are always slow despite me putting it at the price of a £1.00.  But I'm not too bothered as I am more interested in knowing that people are reading what I work.
So I can hear you ask and you just have, then why don't I put it up for free, well, I did contemplate this and unfortunately Amazon only allow books published with some cost and also by having a price then people who do buy are more likely to read and I can then think that at least the few people who have bought it have actually read it.
There is an option to have a benefit period and I have done that for this weekend with my other short story book which is called Caroline & Other Short Stories and that is free at the moment. Up to this morning I have had 27 books downloaded over the weekend and whilst I hope some of those will read it they may not as it didn't cost anything to get.  The book is up for free until Tuesday 28th January 2014 so if you are reading this and fancy a free book for your Kindle or tablet then please feel free to go to this link and download
