I will have to find better titles for my blog since it has moved to my updates of my literary hobby. So my update for today is that my free book give away is stuck at 27. The free book was my first fiction title called Caroline & Other Short Stories which until Tuesday 28th January 2014 has been put on free offer on Amazon. I did that so people could try my work and if they like it they may look for others and find Drinking Partners which I have to admit I am really happy with.
Obviously my skill should get better the more I do as I learn and I think this is definitely better than anything I have done before.
On the writing front I am now working on a slightly smaller book which hasn't got a title yet but is basically about a Stag Weekend. The story is about a group of male friends and one of them has decided to get married and the guys arrange a stag weekend in Prague. There is an underlying problem which one of the group hasn't shared and now he has to decide to put up or shut up. I have finished the outline and now just going through and doing some editing before my proof reader gets to work. At this stage I hope to have it up and published by April or May but we shall see how that goes and how much time I get to work on it.
On the future front I have had some ideas and one recommendation I have had is to write a Drinking Partners sequel which is a thought. I have also a couple of ideas for some short stories which I also want to write and maybe a second short story book will be on the horizon and that will include a sequel to Caroline which was my first ever story written and a chance to move her life forward.
That is all for today but I hope to move some of these forward over the next few days and maybe I'll be lucky and some more people will discover my work and if they do, feedback is always well received including constructive criticism.
