T minus 5 days to Day 1

So it is just 5 days to go until my first trip on this project.  So I have been doing a little bit of preparation such as packing my clothes and gadgets I need to take.  So to get the right clothes I needed to find out two things, the dress code on site and luckily I dont have to wear a dress.  Secondly the temperature of the area I will be visiting, on Monday when I arrive it will be 32 degrees and then on Tuesday (which is as far as the app went) it is going to be 36 degrees so I am digging out as many t shirts and shorts for times other than work.
This time I am also looking to take my video camera to hopefully get some video of what I can see and again hopefully I will publish them on you tube and place a link in the blog.  But we shall see how successful I am doing that all technological stuff.

I have also been looking at the local animal life to see what I may see and baring in mind where I am going is fairly remote and right in the middle of a desert the top ten animals that will be about is copied from google and listed below.

I wonder why nobody else wanted the project and I ended up on it.

Other jobs today was to get my tires checked before my drive to Heathrow on Sunday night and then went to the local Tesco to get some dollars which are neatly tucked in with my passport, drivers licence and other necessary papers.

So in a couple of days I will pack my suitcase and be ready to head out the door on the beginning of another work adventure.
