Today was the
final day on site for this trip and one thing that was a priority was the fact
that I have bought so much stuff while being here that I do not have enough
room in my case to take everything home.
Therefore the plan has been to take some things that I have washed at
the local laundry or not used and pack those into carrier bags and leave with
my US ex pat collegue. He has been kind
enough to look after them for me
So I have handed
over those things and to make sure I can get the rest home have already packed
everything apart from the clothes that I will be wearing tomorrow for the
flight home. I have to admit tht that
the excitment of going home is more than I have felt before, probably because I
have not been away from the family for two full weeks before.
I may as well look at
the plans for tomorrow as I will not sure how much time I will get for updates
tomorrow. The plan is for me to leave
the hotel at 0530 and get the car back to the airport,catch the 0630 flight to
Houston. The problem is that I dont have
a lot of time to get to the international terminal and any delay could be a
problem. The flight leaves HOuston at
10.00 which will get me back into London Heathrow very late on Friday night just in time to drive all the way north. At that point all I will want to do is get
home
