Mal's Travels - Day 2 - Hobbs To Eunice - Finding things

Today started pretty early as my body is still on UK time I think.  I held out until 10:00 pm last night before going to bed but was awake by 3.30 am all raring to go.  Still it gave me chance to go through my emails from yesterday as I didn't have the will to do them last night and do some responses and made me look like I am a workaholic and will work any time night or day.  I suspect I will be on US time by tomorrow morning so that theory will soon be blown out of the water.
After I had posted my blog last night I did have one last walk just out of the hotel as my US colleagues did not turn up and at that point I had had no contact.  It was dark as it was almost 10:00 and the air was breezy but the breeze was really hot, thank goodness the hotel has air conditioning. I will apologise to the environment but without it there would be no sleep at all.
After doing my mails I had the chance to look through some of the brochures I had picked up both from the airport and hotel and it is strange but they all say the same thing - Great place to live, low cost of living, jobs available, come here and live, come here, come, come, come, come.  I am a bit scared they may not let people leave.  Diversification of the gene pool and all that.
I also had a bit of a find as I managed to locate the coffee machine and with a bit of adaptation I could get it to do hot water only and used the tea bags I acquired from my Days Inn the previous night. They supply only powdered milk but much better than nothing.
On the work front it has been the usual busy day, with me leaving the hotel at 8.30 and arriving back after work at just a little before 9.00 pm.  The memory of the journey is the view of thousands and thousands of oil wells and the "nodding donkey's" endlessly going up and down as they pump the black gold.
On the way home we called at Wallmart and I picked up a ready meal to use the new found microwave as well as getting a couple of polo shirts which were on offer.  The food prices are extremely cheap with a large ready meal costing less than five dollars.  I would like to say how it tasted but to be honest I got back to the hotel and sat on the couch and promptly fell asleep.  Therefore I am writing this at 10.50 pm and trying to do it as fast as possible before going to bed as I am fighting to keep myself awake but wanted to do this before hitting that sack.  So if there are any grammatical errors or spelling errors you will have to forgive me as my eyes are closing as I right.
Therefore tomorrow I will look to do a little more videoing so I can put something on.  Finally before I go one last comment about the weather.  It was a little cooler today, the temp as we travelled to work was 89 degrees f and on the way back cooler at 83 degrees.  I am not sure during the day as I didnt get out at all.
So for tonight that is it
Night All
