Day 5 - London - Too poorly to do much today.

This morning it was the normal of getting some breakfast and then setting out for work, what was really amazing was what I saw someone travelling to work on.  It was impossible for me to name it as I have not seen one before.  The only thing I could do was google image the closest thing I could think of and that was a sort of motorised uni cycle and as the net delivers everytime here is a picture of what the guy was riding

It must have been something new even for London as the number of people who turned around as he went past.  I won’t say sped past as he was going only a little faster than walking pace.  I am not sure how he did it but he looked really balanced and with a blue tooth phone piece in his ear and a laptop bag around his shoulder he looked like the business man of the 21st century.
The middle of the afternoon was a bonus when I managed to get a cancelled meeting which meant I could get out of the office to stretch my legs.  Instead of going toward St Pancras or Kings Cross Station I decided to walk, you could call North, as I had heard there was a bit of a park.  Unfortunately the park area is closed off I think as there is a lot of new building work going on but there is nice viewing area to the right of where the park is and on top is an interesting set of information about what buildings are about and when the building work is finished it will be very impressive.  I was lucky to hear a person doing a tour of the area and listened to him telling the tour party all about the interesting bits of the area, including the place where Sir Clive Sinclair lived and some model who now lives in a big building near St Pancras.  Personally I had never heard of her but I am sure someone has.
The best part is that it was sunny, it was warmish and I was out of the office for almost 30 minutes, before subjecting myself to the misery of work life once again.
Back now at the hotel and it is 8.15 p.m. and i have just woken up.  When I left work at 5.30 which is the earliest for some time I thought I would go out and get a walk in but as I walked back to the hotel it started raining quite heavy and as I got back I was freezing and decided that was it I am going to stay in. So Andy I have a very bad cold and I will not man up, I am going to enjoy all the sympathy one can get being in a hotel room on their own.  But seriously I am sat here now, freezing thinking about getting a very hot bath whilst listening to the Chelsea game on the internet.
I will have to save my walk for another time and will also have to save any more for the blog for another time as I am going get that bath and back to bed.

So night all
