Day 15 - London - Sad news

After a good night sleep I awoke bright and early and as breakfast is not on my rate this week again, I sufficed with a shower and two cups of tea, I am a rebel at heart.
After a little catch up of overnight emails and responding to a sad one, that of one of my colleagues from the US who is leaving the company and moving on, sad as I had a good time with him when I was over in New Mexico.
The journey to work was improved by the site of a regular, the blind guy passed me and today he had a dog with him not his stick.  I am so impressed by the speed he walks down the road and the confidence he has considering his disability.
Work was work and the less said the better.  The only good side is that the company have started to move a lot of people into the office at London and I am starting to see quite a lot of people I have worked with in the past and that is nice catching up and having plenty of people to talk to.
It got quite busy the later the day when on and that meant I did not leave again until almost 7.00 p.m.  However tonight it was not a case of going out and enjoying myself as there was still work to do and decided to settle down at the hotel, but before that I popped down to the supermarket and got a couple of provisions to tuck into and then it will nose down at the computer and work.  I did have the football commentary on of the Everton, Newcastle game but have to admit wasn’t really concentrating on it.  Before I knew it, it was almost 11:00 p.m. and time to get ready for bed.  The problem was I was so wound up with thinking and work that it took ages to get to sleep so as you can imagine, by early morning when the alarm went off, it was not a leap out of bed but more of a groan and a stumble to the bathroom.

As it is morning already I cannot say Night all.  So this time I will wish you all a good day and get a wriggle on myself and get back to work.
