Good morning and after I got back last night and finished my blog, I made a cup of tea and sat back and did a little experiment. I was really tired but still sat back and did the crossword in the evening paper that I pick up free every night. I was amazed how little I could really concentrate and could answer no more than just a few clues. Just shows how being so tired does impair your concentration.
This morning I woke before the alarm at 6.30 a.m. and felt really refreshed after a good night sleep. I rose and then made my first cup of tea of the day. I enjoyed a couple of hours of slowly getting ready before embarking out of the room for work.
Work was a very busy one today with only managing one walk around the stations which I didn't get until 4.00 p.m. I know it probably sounds pointless but without that walk I would have been in the office from 8.00 a.m. until 6.30 p.m. without getting out or even doing that much standing, the problem with sitting down working all day. So my walk at 4.00 p.m. only for one circuit was 10 minutes that was well worth it.
As I said I got out of the office just after 6.30 p.m. and got back to the hotel just before 7.00 p.m. and decided it was too late to get out and about so I joined my Glasgow, Plymouth, Dorset and Nottingham colleagues in the pub next to the hotel for a bite to eat and to watch the Liverpool match. It was a nice evening chatting whilst the football was on and a good game to watch also.
But as you can see that doesn't leave me a lot to write about.
But it did give me chance to do a little more work on my plan when I got back into the room but also be tucked up in bed by 11.00 p.m. so on that note, I will say
Night All
