Today I was hoping to be with the guys again as I was going to be on the site they were at yesterday, when I arrived I was surprised to find they were back at the site south of the city and I was once again alone but this time north west of Copenhagen. I must make a note to call into Lidl again tonight to pick up some nicer deodorant.
Work was productive as it is when you sit in a building with people who have no idea what you’re doing and as it doesn’t affect them have no reason to speak to you.
I was then joined by one of the team who must have forgot I was there and whats more had brought the project car so it meant I was to get a lift back to the other site by car. At best I am a very nervous passenger and therefore offered to drive but as the guy who had the car said he liked to drive he would do the honours. As we were getting in the car he said, oh you see that big scrape down your side of the car, I better report that I did that.
This did worry me and as we set off I could see why as we drove past every parked car missing the wing mirrors by a good two or three inches. Infact I started to get a impressed by the way he narrowly missed every single parked car by mere inches, completely consistent driving.
Shaking but alive we arrived back at the other site to where it was announced I was going to be given my own access card for the site, which meant I can now go to the toilet without anyone escorting me but also means I must be coming back to Copenhagen.
It is 5.00 p.m. now so got about an hour before I venture onto the metro, train, bus walk, cable car and whatever other transport I need to get from here to my hotel, so I am going to post what I have put so far and then see what the night brings.
