Copenhagen Day 4

Sometimes you know when days are going to be different, when events happen that can affect many many people but to that later.
Last night after I got back to the hotel it was quick change and it was meeting time as everyone decided they wanted to get together and talk about what we had been doing for the last few days.  Amazing how constructive everyone feels when they talk about what they have done.  After that it was time for bed so once again I got no chance to look around the city but as I am now coming back next week all is not lost.
This morning was another early one as the alarm went off at 5.30 European Timea which for those reading who are wondering 4.30 in the flaming morning UK time.  After a bit of getting ready it was time to hit the breakfast room and that was when the enormity of it was realised.  I was greated by a gentleman at reception biding me good morning but instead of a cheery smile he had a grave look on his face.  "Are you going for breakfast" he enquired.  I replied in the afirmative and he looked more serious, he lowered his tone and said "I'm afraid we have not had our deliver so far this morning and therefore we have no fresh bread".  When I got into the room I was greeted by the first waiter of the day who confided in me that they had no fresh bread and only had bread that had been delivered yesterday.  I tried not to let out an audible gasp and in true British stiff upper lip style, told him not to worry and that I would manage and he rushed off to tell the next morning visitor the horrendous news.  As I ate my yesterday's crossant I watched as each person entered the breakfast room the distrubing news was digested.
You can tell doing nothing but work and sleep really does not give you much to write about.
So it was off to work and there too there had been a huge mix up as my colleagues came to the office I was working at, I'm not sure who was the more suprised they were there.
The day was a normal one with the usual meetings and phone calls and one of those phone calls was the news I was coming back for another week.
Tomorrow it is packing day and then work and airport for the journey home via Amsterday of course.  So I am going to post this blog, do some more appraisal feedbacks and then bed.
