A different day altogether today, as the only flight I could get to Brussels was at 17:05 which meant I didn’t arrive in Brussels until 19:25 local time. By the time I had retrieved my luggage and got my car it was 20:00 and another two hours of road travel beckoned until I got to my hotel in Dunkirk.
But today has been overshadowed anyway with the publishing of my book, Caroline & other short stories. It has been a dream of mine to publish some of my short stories and to finally have done that this weekend has been, to me, a real achievement. But what was great was that I have sold three copies of the book already, even if one of them was to myself to put it on my device. But it still means two have been sold to other people.
However this book business has left me with another problem, everywhere I seem to look there is someone reading a kindle and I want walk over and say, buy my book! Buy my book!. I really am going to have to learn to calm down.
Short blog tonight as I am tired after the travelling and an early start tomorrow is calling so for now
