Day 59 - Dunkirk - Work, Work, Work.

Today should have been a blog about going out into Dunkirk and looking at the dozen or so sailing ships that have docked about two hundred yards from the hotel, looking around the marquees and as an added treat the cheese making tents.  The blog would then have been about the walk around the marina at the other boats that have been brought in as part of the celebration.  Maybe even taken a trip on the boat that is taking people around the marina and docks to see the ships from the water.
However I may then have been talking about how the ship was overloaded and I fell overboard and had to swim back to the dock wall and trudged back the two hundred yards to the hotel, totally wet through and thoroughly miserable and wishing I hadn’t done all the things above.
As it happened I didn’t do all the things above all I did was to go to work this morning, work and then come back to the hotel in the brief time I had between calls and started another number of calls until they finished at seven p.m. and then I had the luck to have to get some more work done which took until I thought I better write the blog and go to bed.  As there is not a lot to write about then the blog at least hasn’t taken that long and I can now go to bed knowing that it will only be a few hours before I get up and go back to work.  I hope my sarcasm comes through.
So it is now time for goodnight all and hope that I have chance to see some of what is happening tomorrow night.
