I have decided to to a quick update as I think it is worthy of it. I saw on the weather forecast that it was going to be a bit sleety today and thought not much of it, and it did look a little cloudy when I was returning from my drive out, but I was shocked when I opened the curtains for a quick peek out at the world a few moments ago.
The place is covered in what looks like about 6 inches of the stuff and not a car is moving in site. It looks like I could be marooned, maroon I say. I may have to be here until Spring, or Friday as that is when the weather forecast says there will be some sort of sunshine even though the temperature doesn't look too clever. It is not just me who is surprised by this turn of events, other guests are walking past reception, looking out and saying hey Bill look at that. And I think Bill is getting a bit sick of being told about it, but seriously they are looking quite bewildered, or at least the English guests are, the French are just shrugging their shoulders and carrying on, whilst the Spanish are just heading back for another sleep, however the Germans are out there trying to clear it up. Talk about cultural stereotyping.
Personally I will sleep on it and see what it is like in the morning.
