My promotion has ended and a total of 32 downloads of Caroline have been completed, which is great as that means that my work has reached 32 more people than it would have done. I will keep my eyes open to see when I can release again on promotion.
Yesterday I have been working on a new short story called The Will, and managed to put down about 5,000 words in a first draft. I have a fair way to go but this will be just a short story as I don't think it has the legs to make it a full novel in its own right.
Another thing I found whilst looking through some old files was my diary for my USA Trip that we did two years ago. It was the blog I posted at the time to keep family and friends updated as we drove from Los Angeles to Chicago and have given some thought to tidying it up and and publishing as a piece of work I will distribute for free. My plan to do that is to put on for the lowest amount possible and then put in the description that at every benefit period allowed I will allow the book to go for free and if I update the detail to mark each free period it will give people a chance to pick it up for free and not purchase when I have to put the price back to the norm of (I think) 75 pence or 99 cents which is the cheapest.
I think that is all for today's update but the plan is to try and do a little more on The Will and try and get through to the end of the first draft.
