Day 20 - Hobbs - Another hot one

Today has been a work day and another busy one with not a great deal of time to do any private stuff.  I did think about going to the local cinema but work went on a bit long so it was time just to go back to the hotel after picking up a few items from the shop ready for tomorrow.  Tomorrow, my US colleagues are having a cook out at a Ranch that the company we are working for have, so the plan is that everyone brings something and we all get together and eat as well as other stuff so I am looking forward to experiencing that.
So really a short blog today with the only other news is that it is getting hotter, as you can see from the photo of my dashboard below and in the top right of the display, the temperature at 7.22 p.m. was 114 degrees.  Goodness knows what it had been during the warmer part of the day around 3 or 4 p.m.
So you will understand when I say that the fun part of the day was when we arrived at work to find the air conditioning had stopped working in the offices.  This mean they had brought out the fans but with hot air been blown about it was very uncomfortable and despite an awful lot of water drunk I still managed to leave the office with a headache which has now gone since being back in the hotel and in my air conditioned room and some cold water from the fridge.  Hopefully it will be back on tomorrow and sanity will be resumed.
