Day 20 - Goole - Home Again Home Again

Pack day, which, when I write it seems to come around quickly but when I live it seems to come around only once a week.  But it is pack day and that enigma of why does my case seem half empty (optimist on this occasion) but now seems over full when I put the same stuff back in.
After a good night sleep and mainly because I was in bed and I think asleep before 11:00 p.m. which now feels brilliant.  I awoke with the alarm at 6.45 a.m. and felt so awake and I think that is the reason I feel more positive right now and in a better mood.  I guess that will change about three minutes after entering the office.

As you can tell I feel so awake I am writing this bit before I leave for work so for now I will enjoy my first cup of tea of the morning and try and squeeze another in before I leave.  As I think I said earlier this week, no breakfast in the hotel this week as for some reason my rate does include it and then the next week the same rate doesn’t but I am not too fussed as sometimes having to fit breakfast in means I have to rush more whereas now I can take it easier and just enjoy my brew.

Work lasted about 36 hours today with only a brief pause to walk around the stations with my Selby colleague.  In fact that went so quick we walked around twice but I needed to get my steps in as I know that I am going to be way down.
The train journey was pretty normal, left on time, arrived in Doncaster on time the only highlight was that something happened to someone else that I am sure everyone dreads.  Across the aisle to me a guy fell asleep and boy did he snore, people were all shuffling around really uncomfortable, another guy had a coughing fit I think purely to wake him up but it didnt work and he carried on.  About 20 minutes after he fell asleep and think about it 20 minutes of people sat listening to you is a long time, the conductor came around to check tickets and that woke him up when the guy shook his shoulder to get his attention, he then stayed awake for the rest of the journey.
The train from Doncaster to Goole was simple with nothing to report or not from me as I sat with my music on for that journey and was oblivious to everything.
So I am not home for a long weekend as I don't venture back to the office until Tuesday and I am pleased about that.  So until then its
Goodnight All
